History of Christian Reformed Church, Hull, North Dakota added to archives book collection

Rod Oppegard has donated a book to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection.  The book is a history of the Christian Reformed Church of Hull, North Dakota 1887-1962.  It was produced as part of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the church in 1962.  The book is illustrated, and contains a history of the church, a list of former ministers, the Ladies Missionary Society, Golden Hour Circle, Men's Society, Helping Hand Society, and a Membership R

Makoti centennial book added to book collection

The Makoti, North Dakota centennial celebration community history book has been added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection.  The book was published in 2011by the Makoti Centennial Committee, it is 497 pages, and fully illustrated.  It contains a history of the town of Makoti, and the history of organizations, churches, schools, family, and other related to the community.  The book is available for review in the NDSU Archives reading

Lars and Martha Berg family history and photographs donated to the NDSU Archives

A published family history of the descendants of Lars & Martha Berg as been donated to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection.  The book is by the donors, Don and Adele Reierson, of Fargo, N.D.  The family originated in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway and settled in Wiser Township, Cass County, North Dakota in the 1880s.  The book is 490 pages long with numerous family photographs and an index and family health history in the back.
