Therapy dogs return to Main Library

Therapy dogs are coming back to the Main Library. Students can take a break from studying for finals to hang out with some canine pals. We expect about 8 dogs this time, including some of your favorites from last semester. The dogs and their handlers will be at the Main Library on Thursday, May 8, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

We would like to thank Amber Bach-Gorman of the NDSU Counseling Center and Mary Ellen Steinhoff of the F-M Dog Obedience School for coordinating this event. We hope you can join us.

Horticulture Club visits Main Library

Fourteen members of the Horticulture and Forestry Club visited the Main Library on Saturday, April 5, to provide some much-needed attention to the first- and second-floor plant beds. Members took out dead plants and leaves, planted new plants from their greenhouses, and added fresh dirt and mulch to the plant beds.

Many thanks to club president Matthew Brooke, vice president Nathan Jahnke, and the rest of the club for helping to keep the plants and trees at the Main Library healthy and growing.
