MAKERS Season 2 at the Library

Join NDSU Libraries as we premier PBS Makers on Tuesdays this fall!

MAKERS is a digital and video storytelling platform that aims to be the largest most dynamic collection of women's stories ever assembled.
Through original interviews, MAKERS brings together well-known figures such as Hillary Clinton, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Oprah Winfrey, with the trailblazers that need to be known such as Christy Haubegger, the founder of Latina Magazine and Kathrine Switzer, the first women to run the Boston Marathon.

Speaker Series: The Gaza War, Talk with Ghazi Hassoun

Author of Walking Into the Sunshine and former NDSU Professor of Physics, Ghazi Hassoun describes the Israel/Palestine conflict as central to his life's journey. He is a Palestinian who became a refugee in Lebanon as a result of the Israeli-Palestinian war of 1948. Ghazi will elaborate on the effects of the war not only from within the fighting countries but also how it effects the surrounding areas.

Please join us for Ghazi's presentation on September 16 at 4 P.M. at the Main Library in the Weber Reading Room.

3D printing now available at Main Library

NDSU Libraries now offer 3D printing as a drop-off service at the Main Library for NDSU students, staff, and faculty. 3D printing is an additive manufacturing process in which a three-dimensional object is built by laying down successive layers of thin material. All of this has been made possible by an Impact Fund grant from the NDSU Development Foundation.

Visit our display case in the Library Coffee House to see some great examples of objects we’ve printed.
