Der Kulturrat der Deutschen aus Russland e.V. was founded in 1981. It set itself the goal to care for and preserve cultural traditions, to impart knowledge about the countries of origin and about their history by means of publications as well as, beyond this ethnic group, to bring to the public the special fate of the Germans from Russia/USSR and thereby make an important contribution to the care and preservation of the identity of this ethnic group.

The Kulturrat in regard to its goals and tasks is supported by the Landsmannschaft der Deutschen aus Russland and is embodied in the statutes of the Landsmannschaft.

7. Seminars

The Landsmannschaft der Deutschen aus Russland e. V. regularly organizes integration and informational seminars nationwide for ethnic German emigrants in the area of social services.

The goal of the measures of these events is to facilitate the orientation in the Federal Republic of Germany for our newly arriving countrymen and to assist with economic and social integration.

In the seminars you learn everything about your rights and the benefits to which you are entitled. Experienced advisors give tips on how to settle in your new environment. Within the framework of these seminars there is opportunity for personal individual consultation and for exchange of experiences within the community.

Participation is free of charge.

You are told by the appropriate local chapter of the Landsmannschaft from the national office of the Landsmannschaft der Deutschen aus Russland e.V., Raitelsbergstr. 49, 70188 Stuttgart, Germany, Tel: 011-49-711-166-590 where and when these seminars are being offered.

The following work conferences are organized in each cultural, scientific and technical area:

- for writers, scientists, musicians, painters, teachers, physicians, engineers
- choirs
- genealogy
