By Cr. Edward F. Keller

Self published by Dr. Edward F. Keller, Dickinson, North Dakota, 1999, 134 pages, softcover

Another book has been published by the author of My First World, Memory Stories, and Memory Stories Audio Cassette.

In 94 short stories, the author details his early childhood memories of growing up in a German Russian family near Strasburg, North Dakota, the home of bandleader Lawrence Welk, in the 1920s and 1930s. In stories like "My Best Ice Cream Ever," My Father's Lap," "Sugarbread," and "Dakota Gypsies," Keller's early prairie experiences come alive.

Keller reveals a closeness to nature, a work ethic and an enormous faith with a persistence that enable existence on the early Dakota prairies. The large print, double spaced stories have all appeared during the last two years in the Emmons County Record, Linton, North Dakota, the area where Keller grew up.
