The Leopold and Marianna Holzer Family Reunion was held on July 8, 2006, at the KC Hall in Linton with 475 people in attendance. Leopolds family tree was traced back to his Great-Grandfather Joseph Holzer born in 1773. Marianna's family tree was traced back to Baptist Noel born in 1763. Leopold and Marianna Holzer and children came to America in 1905. They previously lived in German colonies in Russia.

The reunion honoring Leopold and Marianna Holzer is held every 5 years, this was the 5th family reunion and the first was 20 years ago.

The youngest person attending the Holzer Reunion was Hayden Mittleider, 7 weeks old, held by his mother, Amanda, of Bismarck. Hayden is the great-great-great-grandson of Leopold and Marianna.

The oldest person in attendance was 93 year old Joseph Holzer of Bismarck. Joseph is a grandson of Leopold and Marianna.
