Get Your Article
If you have a citation and need the entire article, follow the steps below to obtain the full text.
Online articles
Click the eJournals tab on the front page of the NDSU Libraries website.

Type in the title of the journal or magazine in the Search box. You will then see a list of all of the online databases that provide full-text access to the given journal (if no databases appear, we do not have online access to the journal). Next to the name of each database, you will see the years covered. If the publication date of the article you need is covered in the years given, click on the name of the database and search for the specific article.
Articles from print (physical) journals and magazines
If the NDSU Libraries does not have full-text access to the online article, it may be available in print form (this is especially true for older articles). To see if the article is available in print, click the Catalog tab on the front page of the NDSU Libraries website and type in the title of the journal or magazine. If NDSU has a subscription to the journal or magazine, a computer record will display with an abbreviated list of specific volumes. Click the View additional copies or search for a specific volume/copy button to check if NDSU owns the volume/issue that contains the article you need. If NDSU does own the volume/issue, the location is stated in the record. If the location states Off-campus Storage Annex, you may request an electronic copy be sent to your email by filling out the Pull Service Request form.
Articles not available online or in print format
If the NDSU Libraries does not have access to the article you need, you may request it by filling out the Interlibrary Loan Request form.
